Every Clause, Limit, and Exclusion, Marked in Writing

A premium is only half of a policy. Send the declarations page, the schedule, or the renewal notice, and a reviewer marks the terms that decide what a settlement would actually pay, then returns a written summary you keep on file.

A written summary per review
A list of documents still missing
No charge to the consumer

Reviewing a document and arranging an introduction cost you nothing and oblige you to nothing. A referral fee may reach this desk from an insurer once a policy is written; it is paid out of the insurer budget, so it never appears in your premium.

By calling, or by sending a review request, you authorise Insurance Coverage Center and the producers and insurers we introduce to reach you by phone call, email, or text message about this request. Nothing about a purchase depends on that permission. Standard message and data rates may apply, and you may ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Start a Review File

Step 1 of 2 · Name the policy

Which policy should the reviewer pull up first?

The file is the deliverable

Four records exist for every request: the request as received, the summary of what was reviewed, the list of documents still outstanding, and the renewal log.

Producers are named, never implied

Every figure we hand over is attributed to the licensed producer and the carrier who prepared it, together with the licence number a regulator can confirm.

Hours come from one setting

The Pacific Time hours on the phone bar, the request form, and every legal notice are generated from a single configuration value, so they cannot drift apart.

Method

Why the Paper Comes Before the Price

Declarations

Read before it is priced

Carriers price from declarations. If the rebuild cost, the annual mileage, or the payroll figure is wrong, every number downstream is wrong too, so the declaration is checked first.

Alignment

Limit, deductible, exclusion — in that order

Two quotes only compare cleanly when those three line up. A lower premium that rests on a smaller limit or a narrower peril is a different policy, not a better one.

Renewal

Renewal work starts weeks early

Carrier renewal pricing opens well before the notice reaches you. The original file is reopened and the year-over-year changes are marked, so nothing has to be remembered twice.

Who Writes It

Where a Policy Actually Comes From

A policy is written by a licensed producer and an insurance company. These are the channels a request can reach, described rather than branded.

Direct insurance companies
Independent agency carriers
Captive company agents
Regional mutual companies
Specialty commercial writers
Personal lines specialists
Excess and umbrella layers
Association and group programs
Your incumbent carrier

Firm names are deliberately absent from this list. The producer that can quote a policy in Washington cannot quote one in Ohio, and a static roster would be wrong within weeks of publishing. Every quote you receive names the producer, the agency, the carrier, and the licence number relied upon, in writing, before any decision falls due. This desk endorses none of them and ranks none of them.

How a Review Runs

Three Passes, in a Fixed Order

01

Open the file

The policy line, the effective date you need, and everything already in your folder are logged, so no question is put to you twice.

02

Mark the documents

A reviewer sets limits, deductibles, exclusions, and conditions beside each other and records which page each figure was taken from.

03

Set the renewal watch

The renewal date, the outstanding documents, and the questions worth raising are written into the file so the second year starts from a record.

Paperwork in hand?

Have It Read Before the Effective Date

Send the declarations, the renewal notice, or the quote you are holding. A reviewer marks the terms that matter and writes the findings back, with no charge and no obligation to act on them.
